This morning you better “slow down” in that school ZONE… Today state troopers will begin a weeklong operation that focuses on drivers who pass stopped school buses… Troopers will be working in school zones and following buses to catch careless drivers… In North Carolina, if you are convicted of passing a stopped school bus you can get five points on your driver’s license and fines of up to $200.
