SHOWTIME SAYS…
Jamelia Jaunique Thomas of Durham was arrested earlier today in the shooting death of 54 year old Jerry Wayne Morgan. After being on the run for a few weeks U.S. Marshals arrested Thomas this morning in South Hill, Va.
Investigators believe that on September 1st Morgan was working on a vehicle in the 2700 block of Cheek Road when Thomas approached him and shot him after a brief altercation.
The woman is currently being held in the Mecklenburg County, Va. jail.
