Wonder why President Obama has been spending so much time in North Carolina recently? Well the reason that the Prez has visited the state 2 times in the last 4 months is that he knows that he needs to win North Carolina again if he plans on returning to the White House for a second term.
In an interview on Thursday with WXII-TV, Obama said that he plans on “actively campaigning” in the state. Even though North Carolina is historically a republican state, the President managed to win the state in 2008.
