Ciara has officially responded to the subtweet Rihanna and her BFF Melissa Forde sent in her honor earlier this week:

Ciara posted a video of herself singing her latest single, “Body Party” in the bathroom for her fans and a day later, Rihanna & co. posted a photo, watching the video, smiling and used the caption:
“#BodyParty (bathroom acapella version) #London”
Ciara confronted the alleged beef on Chicago 107.5 and confirmed that Rihanna and her lady friend were coming at her:
“I thought everything was cool because I actually saw Rihanna two years ago at the Met Gala after we had the little small back and forth and from what I recall everything was cool. So, in my mind I operate from a place of love and pure support. If you would have asked me about her up until this point I would have nothing but good things to say because I’m really happy for her. But I didn’t receive what they did from a positive place.”
While personally, I thought Rihanna was giving Ciara some shine, our Senior Editor thought it was nothing less than shade being slung at Ci Ci. I couldn’t imagine Rihanna even caring about Ciara posting this video. But I guess Rihanna grew tired of insulting Chris Brown‘s ex, Karrueche and transferred her focus to another flailing beauty…Ciara.

It’s a good thing Ciara has other things to worry about, like her role on BET’s “The Game” on March 26th. Check out what Ci Ci had to say about the show:
“I play the entertainer Ciara, but the things I do are things that I could never do as a person, like it’s the unexpected. It’s the unexpectedness, quote on quote, of me as an entertainer, which I think makes it really fun and it gets real real serious.”
As you know, I feel bad for Rihanna these days because she continually acts out and her latest antics against Ciara just come off desperate.
