It don’t pay to play with the I.R.S. money. Lauryn Hill has been sentenced to three months in federal prison for tax evasion. The judge had given Lauryn Hill 2 weeks to pay $500,000 toward her $1.8 million tax debt for failing to file taxes in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Sources stated the raptress cut a check for $900,000 to settle the debt….but she still ended up with jail time.She was sentenced to three months in jail, a $60,000 fine, one year probation and possibly three months of home confinement. Ms. Hill must report to prison on July 8th.
