Miguel

So, now that one of the victims of Miguel’s stage jumping adornment, has an attorney on retainer, reports have been circulating that “the powers that be” behind the Billboard Awards warned Miguel not to take the jump over the audience during his performance, but that Miguel decided to do it anyway. And we all know how that worked out! But in case we need a reminder check it out in the video below!

This interview with Miguel and one of the “jump gone wrong victims” was done backstage post leap debacle. Take a look!

TMZ, is reporting, that Miguel practiced his jump two different times in rehearsals before the Billboard Music Awards.

Now, sources affiliated with the awards show told TMZ that the BMA’s executive producer Don Mischer personally told Miguel after rehearsals not to do the stunt.

However Miguel’s camp is having none of that! Says Miguel’s rep;

“The reports claiming that Miguel was warned by producers not to jump are completely false.”

A source close to Miguel is alleging that producers actually asked Miguel if he was going to attempt the jump in order  to make sure their cameras didn’t miss it during the show.

Khyati Shah, one of the fans that caught the fade from Miguel, is allegedly having neurological issues since the debacle and could be pondering a lawsuit.

Miguel’s rep says,

“A number of attempts were made to reach Khyati and her lawyer after the performance to see how she was doing and whether any assistance could be offered.”

Hmmm, it seems to us like the finger pointing is just getting started! Miguel is claiming he was never warned, the Billboard people are claiming they told Miguel to stay his behind on the main stage and the victim is pointing at both of them saying she’d like her new Mercedes in black! Okay we made up that last part, but who among us really thinks her bank account isn’t about to be ridiculously larger than it was before that show? Exactly!

Guess we will just have to wait and see who makes the next move, but our money is on Ms. Shah’s attorney being the next one to speak. We’ll keep you posted!
