Gerorge Zimmerman is apparently planning on standing his ground some more. The man who was accused of killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was seen on Thursday shopping for a new gun.
TMZ reported that Zimmerman went to a Cocoa, FL gun shop with his lawyer Mark O’Mara in search of a new firearm. Zimmerman was said to have inquired about a Kel-Tec KSH 12 gauge shotgun. The 12-round piece has a suggested retail price of $1,197 and is manufactured by the same company that made PF-9 gun used to kill Trayvon Martin.
The gun shop’s owner took Zimmerman and O’Mara on a tour of their store including the area where firearms are assembled.
It was unclear if Zimmerman actually purchased a weapon, but I think this was just really in bad taste. This was a complete slap in the face of everyone who has fought for justice to be served in this case and a flat out blatant act of disrespect to life of Trayvon Martin. I’m a firm believer that you can’t run from your karma, and one day Zimmerman is going to reap everything that he has sown. This was obviously another publicity stunt for Zimmerman. Who goes to a gun shop and takes their lawyer with them? This was just another sign that shows Zimmerman to be the coward that he really is. Hiding behind his gun…Hiding behind his lawyer…and hiding from the truth!
