Actor Columbus Short is facing a real life scandal after reports that he threatened the life of his wife last week. This allegation was bought up during an affidavit filed by his wife, Tanee Short, on Tuesday where she asked for a restraining order and filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
According to court documents, Short has been arrested three times in the last three months for violence. The most recent incident involved an intoxicated Short pouring wine on Tanee and threatening to hit her with the bottle. Short then threatened to stab her if she did not reply honestly to his questions in a game of “Truth or Truth” and proceeded to hold the knife to her neck.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Short said “I don’t know what all the noise is about… Everything’s great.” It seems as though Columbus is trying to be his own “Olivia Pope” and fix this episode worthy drama.
