According to Perez Hilton’s website a mixture of alcohol and prescription drugs were the cause for Porsha Williams’ violent outburst during the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Show taping. A source stated that “Porsha was drunk…there were two bottles of wine in her dressing room. She came to fight Kenya and needed some liquid courage! She is very unstable. She’s been taking medications and mixing it with alcohol.” Cast member Nene Leakes however states that the filming of the reunion show was a sober one. Allegedly, Porsha was prescribed anti-depressants after her divorce to Cordell Stewart and pain killers after her recent breast augmentation.
After the brawl, Kenya Moore called the police and pressed charges against Porsha. She turned herself in to authorities last week and posted her $2000 bail in cash. As a result of the altercation, the host Andy Cohen is now banning props from all reunion shows in the future.
