Here are the scores from this past weekend’s games. Thursday, the 18th, the Atlanta Falcons won 56 to 14 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This was one of the biggest wins in Falcon history, with a 56-0 lead until the fourth quarter where the Buccaneers were able to score two practically useless touchdowns. This past Sunday several games took place. The San Diego Chargers were able to take home a victory against the Buffalo Bills with a score of 22-10. This win was greatly attributed to the skill of the Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, who was able to efficiently find receivers open and able to complete plays. The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Tennessee Titans 33-7 with quarterback Andy Dalton becoming the first quarterback in Bengal history to catch a touchdown pass. Though still dealing with the Ray Rice scandal, The Baltimore Ravens were able to pull off a win against the Cleveland Browns 23-21. They accomplished this win with John Tucker’s 32 yard field goal kick as time expired. The Detroit Lions won against the Green Bay Packers 19-7, with the help of 3 turnovers and a fumble by the Packers team. The Indiana Colts won 44-17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, with Andrew Luck throwing 4 touchdown passes in the first half. The New England Patriots were able to squeak through with a win against the Oakland Raiders, 16-9 and the New Orleans Saints were able to get their first win of the season against the Minnesota Vikings, 20-9. The New York Giants were able to regroup and correct errors during their game against the Houston Texans for the win. The final score was 30-17. The Philadelphia Eagles were the true comeback kids during their game against The Washington Red Skins. They pulled off a win of 37-34. The Dallas Cowboys accomplished a 34-31 win over the St. Louis Rams through their diligence and the lack thereof with the Rams coverage. Backup quarterback, Drew Stanton, was able to lead the Arizona Cardinals in a 9 point lead against the San Francisco 49ers, for a win of 23-14. Alex Smith, Chiefs quarterback, led his team past the Miami Dolphins, 34-15. Seattle beat the Denver Broncos 26-20 in overtime and lastly the Pittsburg Steelers won 37-19 against the North Carolina Panthers.
