Philly rapper Cool C has his execution date set.
He has been on death row since 1996 for murdering a police officer. He and another Philly rapper, Steady B, attempted to rob a bank and shot and killed officer Lauretha Vaird, according to All Hip Hop.
Cool C, real name Christopher Roney), is scheduled to be executed on January 8.
