Seriously? What’s really going on?
Yesterday, YMCMB head honcho, Lil Wayne, went on a crazy twitter rant, saying how he wanted off the Cash Money Records, and that they refused to release Tha Carter V. Weezy almost broke the internet..
But today, his manager, Cortez Bryant, told TMZ that things are fine, and that Weezy isn’t leaving the label.
“We good,” he said. “I’m smiling. I wouldn’t be out at the club right now.”
When asked about Tyga, who has also denounced YMCMB, he said, “Tyga’s good too. That’s my brother.”
According to Bryant, Weezy has no plans to leave the label. “We good, we staying where we at.”
Hmm. So this means 1. This whole thing is a publicity stunt, 2. Lil Wayne was hacked, 3. Cortez was fired, but hasn’t received the memo…
