Lil Wayne shocked the world last week when he tweeted that he was trying to leave YMCMB and that the label was the reason behind the delay of Tha Carter V. Days later, Weezy’s manager, Cortez Bryant, told TMZ that things were fine and that he wasn’t leaving, so many were left wondering what was the truth.
Now, the rapper has confirmed that he is in fact planning on leaving Young Money at VICE’s 20th birthday bash in Brooklyn, NY.
Weezy said that he was in a “bad situtation,” and would be out of it soon. Watch the video below.
Bryant just told TMZ that he was just playing when he said that everything was fine:
10:45 AM PT — Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant, now tells us he was just being “sarcastic” when he told us “everything is fine” between Weezy and Cash Money.
