In a recent interview with MstarsNews, Rich Homie Quan stated that he wishes to remain neutral in the Lil Wayne and Birdman dispute. He stated:
“I can only speak for myself because I try not to get into their business… It doesn’t exist to me. I have no problems with Wayne I pray both of them get through whatever they are going through… Other than that, I’ve just been focusing on myself”
The Rich Gang rapper informed interviewers that he wants to spend this time focusing on himself and his brand.
“I have been focusing more on myself, I’ve stepped away from Rich Gang a little bit just to get back to Quan. The people want Quan back… It’s cool for the moment… It’s been so long since I dropped a mixtape – it’s time for Atlanta and the world to know that Quan has improved and it’s a new sound here. This new sound honestly, I feel as if I had me a Grammy bro” (via Hot 107.9).
Apparently this did not go over well with Quan’s collab-partner, Young Thug. During the Rodeo Tour (with Travi$ Scott), Thug referenced Rich Homie by saying:
“Speaking of horses… You saw the f*cking video, man. This stupid lame – that n*gga tripping. That B*tch Homie Quan.”
