Laurence Fishburne’s mother Hattie has accused her husband of going “Hollywood” according to New York Post. She claims that she sacrificed everything to establish his career. Thereby, it baffles her that her son won’t even offer her “a penny” when she could be faced with the possibility of being evicted from her home.

“For 20 years, I funded my son’s career,” Hattie tells New York Post. “He promised he would take care of me…To this day, I have not got a Christmas present or a ‘Thank you, Mama’ present. He hasn’t given me a penny.”

Mother to the “Black-ish” star tells the Post that she has been unable to pay rent for the past several months, resulting in an eviction.

She goes on to say that she and Laurence haven’t been able to connect they way they once were prior to the death of her husband, Laurence’s father.

Ms. Hattie suffers from arthritis, underactive thyroid and high cholesterol. She also said she has trouble maintaining and needs a benefactor.

Laurence hasn’t spoken on the matter publicly at this time.

Do you think Laurence has “gone Hollywood” for not assisting his mother in her time of need?
