WQNC Radio station in Charlotte, NC- formerly known as a gospel station recently relaunched their airwaves as Drake 92.7, playing the Toronto rapper’s music all the time. Just two days ago, the re-branding occurred suddenly followed by new twitter and instagram accounts to let you know that it’s real. All Drake, all the time! Would you like it?
Now, there is no word on whether they will keep it an all Drake station, or if they are just using this as a promotion to launch the idea that would be next. Rumors are, Drake purchased the station himself as a publicity stunt, but the Federal Communications Commission regulations don’t allow for international parties to purchase American broadcast stations.
