It looked for a while like Rick Ross was finished and Meek Mill was going to be MMG’s wounded cross-bearer. Ross is 39 years old, and his last album, Hood Billionaire, was only spectacular in its mediocrity. But in 2015, rap is good, even if you’re an aging bawse. Ross dropped a new song entitled “Foreclosures,” and it’s his best song in a while.

“Foreclosures” is another entry in Rick Ross’s and the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League’s pristinely produced list of collaborations. What’s more impressive is Ross’s performance. He sounds refreshed and like he’s actually putting some thought into his rhyme book. Motivational Anthem Ross actually sounds motivational here.

“Planting poison in a nigga mind/ Chilling with your boys when it’s time to grind,” Ross preaches.

And more Ross is coming later this week. The MMG captain also announced that Black Dollar, his eight album, is going to drop on Thursday. It will be a badly need W if the rest of Black Dollar sounds anything like “Foreclosures.”

There should be more new material dropping from Ross before Thursday. The Bawse announced on his Instagram that “Money Dance,” featuring The-Dream, will drop tomorrow (Sept. 1).
