Houston rapper Scarface was honored at the BET Hip Hop awards last night. Face received the “I Am Legend” award for his lifetime achievement in Hip Hop.
Apparently, Face forgot to check with his P.O. before leaving the state of Texas because cops were waiting for him as soon as he stepped off of the stage in Atlanta. As the awards were filming the rapper was taken into custody by officers who were waiting for him backstage. The rapper had a warrant for unpaid child support which restricted him from being able to travel outside of Texas.
Sources say that 10 sheriff deputies were waiting for Face as he exited the stage.
