It’s been some time since we’ve heard the status of the Lil Wayne and Young Thug relationship. Last that we heard, Young Thug and Birdman were being accused of Lil Waynes tour bus being shot up back in April.
In a recent interview with Young Thug and the New York Times, the Atlanta rapper discussed the many misconceptions people have when it comes to the relationship of him and Lil Wayne. He went in depth on the reason why he wanted to name his album “The Carter 6” even after Lil Wayne stated the “The Carter 5” would be the last of the Carter series. Young Thug stated that he looked up to Lil Wayne, like an idol and wanted to name his album “The Carter 6” to show how much he looked up to him.
