Former Dallas Cowboy and UNC-CH Tarheel, Greg Ellis, called into K97.5 to talk with Mir.I.am about the release of Carter High. Ellis serves as executive producer of the film, which stars Charles S. Dutton, Vivica A Fox, Pooch Hall and David Banner.
Ellis played in the NFL for 12 seasons, 11 with the Dallas Cowboys and started his own production company, Play Now Enterprise.
The film is based on a true story about the The CARTER HIGH Cowboys, arguable the greatest team in High School Football history, and the road the faced on the way to becoming State champions. It also deals greatly with the consequences of our actions – and choosing the right path.
