A 23-year-old woman is facing life in prison after allegedly killing her boyfriend because of she felt he spent too much time on Facebook.

The woman is Terri-Marie Palmer and prosecutors say that she stabbed her boyfriend Damon Searson because he did not give her any attention while he was logged onto Facebook. She posted a status on FB that said ““pissing me off sitting on Facebook, completely blanking me when I’m talking to him.”

Sources say that the couple had a good relationship but Palmer would get upset when her boyfriend took pictures without his shirt, and also did not like for him to add other women as friends.

A few days before the killing she sent him a text that said “Crying myself to sleep for the second time this week and it’s only Wednesday. Thanks Damon. I’m so angry and hurt I honestly want to f****** stab you,”

I mean is a social media site really that serious? Was it worth spending your life in jail over Facebook?

In August of 2015 she posted “All he does is sits there and adds loads of girls. He’s a f****** little prick. I’m fuming with him.”

When she was confronted by police about her boyfriend’s death Palmer told them that he stabbed himself by accident. Cops didn’t find any evidence that suggested that the stabbing was accidental so they arrested Palmer. A jury has since found her guilty and handed her a life sentence in prison.
