Earlier this week I reported that Bobby Brown and his wife Alicia Etheredge were expecting a new baby. (Click HERE if you missed that)
Sources are reporting today that Brown has now checked himself into rehab. It is being speculated that cocaine and alcohol are the reasons for Bobby’s recent rehab stint.
This isn’t Brown’s first time getting help for an addiction. He checked into rehab back in 2012 after being married for 12 months. Reps for Bobby would only say that he would be performing at an event in Charleston S.C. on March 4.
The Brown family has had a long history of drug abuse. In 2012 Brown’s wife singer Whitney Houston was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room with cocaine in her system. Their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown died last year at the age of 21 after being found unresponsive in a bathtub in an incident eerily similar to the death of her mother.
Hopefully Bobby Brown will be able to get things together for the sake of his family.
