San Antonio Spurs’ SF Kawhi Leonard has been named 2015-16 NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Leonard was a monster on the defensive end once again, setting the tone for the Spurs in their 67-15 season. Leonard has emerged as not only the Spurs’ best player, but one of the NBA’s top players. This is the second consecutive year that Leonard is receiving the honor, and he becomes the ninth player to win the award twice.
