I was so caught up with the talent and vibes of Monica’s performance singing all my childhood jams at Radio One Raleigh’s Women’s Empowerment as well as the cuteness of the babies on stage that I failed to realize she was sans wedding ring all day. Catch this in the video below.

In related news the internet was buzzing due to Shannon Brown apparently unfollowing Monica on Instagram but to be fair, he actually unfollowed EVERYONE on Instagram.
It should be noted that Monica was chatting it up with Tamela Mann backstage after she and husband David talked about overcoming troubling times in their marriage along with JJ and Trina Hairston on a Couples Panel Discussion at Women’s Empowerment.
Let’s hope she received good word and that she and Shannon can work through this one. After all, Monica is a woman of God
