Beyoncé tour opened last night in Miami, Florida and the Queen did not disappoint. She donned the stage wearing Dsquared.

Wearing the signature wide-brim hat from the Formation video, she let the crowd know that the show was about to get lit. The Dsquared camp expatiated on the look by stating,

“Beyoncé wears an elaborate Victorian-inspired black crystal embroidered bustier with velvet, puff-shouldered embroidered sleeves, broad brim hat, and gloves with lace embellished leather gloves.”

I love that Dsquared mixed Victorian and modern times, playing on the current black and lace trend while embracing the elaborate architecture in pieces often seen from the Victorian-era. This is the perfect way to style the modern day American Queen.

If Lemonade didn’t let you know Queen Bey supports our black women, then let the Formation Tour illustrate it for you. Beyoncé and all of her dancers are wearing Nubian Skin. Serving major sex appeal in the Nubian Skin T-shirt bra (so comfy for hours of dancing!) and thongs in matching colors. Nubian Skin is one of the only brands that offer shades for all of the melanin on Bey’s dance team. No mismatching skin tones here!

Hello Beautiful spoke exclusively to Ade Hassan, the founder of Nubian Skin. She excitedly tells us,

“As a young, boot-strapped company, it is unbelievable to have an artist like Beyoncé choose to wear Nubian Skin as the base for her costumes on the Formation Tour.  Beyoncé is a global phenomenon and the fact that her team knows about our brand and have selected it is testament to the work we’re trying to do.  It is such validation to see a squad of beautiful black women in all their melanin glory and know that Nubian Skin has a product which is allowing them to express that to perfection.”

The white bodysuits she is wearing is by Balmain and designed by Olivier Rousteing.

Queen Bey also gave love to Roberto Cavalli. She wore a custom made all over black crystal embroidered bodysuit with metallic gold threading paired with velvet tiger printed cuissard boots. The piece was designed by Peter Dundas, the Creative Director of Roberto Cavalli.

This bodysuit is also playing into the modern day Victorian Queen vibes. I love that she collaborated with multiple designers to create one bold theme throughout her looks.
