Beyonce brought her Formation World Tour to Raleigh last night even though the weather was bad. Thunderstorms rained down over concertgoers who attended the show at Carter-Finley Stadium. The show ended up being delayed for about an hour due to concerns about rain and lightning.

Concertgoers were asked to leave the venue while the storm passed. Before coming back to the stage Beyonce was advised that the show would go past the venue’s curfew. In order to continue her performance the venue assessed a $1,000 fine for every minute that the show went over it’s scheduled time. Bey wanted to continue to give the people what they wanted.

“If y’all are in the rain, I’m in the rain,” Bey told fans while on stage. The show went over it’s time limit by 60 minutes and Bey gladly accepted the $60,000 fine that came with it.

All hail King Bey
