The Art of Cool Festival weekend has come to a close, and the “coachella of Jazz” did not disappoint. With a line-up boasting of The Internet, Thundercat, Anderson . Paak, Kamasi Washington, Terrence Blanchard and more, thousands flooded downtown Durham for the jazz/ soul festival.
Throughout the week, there were also a number of other programs and events, including Innovate Your Cool Conference, The Art of Turntables, Jam Sessions and Day Parties.
I hosted the Official Art of Cool Day Party on Friday, May 6th, and it included of performances from Will Wildfire, Defacto Thezpian, and Lil Bob Doe.
I’ve put together some of my clips and pictures from the event over the weekend as well as other fans who were in attendance.
I stopped by performances from Anderson .Paak, Rapsody, The Internet, and Kamasi Washington. I would have to say out of all of the amazing performances, I enjoyed Anderson .Paak and The Internet most of all, but every act that I had the chance to witness was amazing.

Special Thanks to Cicely Mitchell and Chelsey Bentley for all of their assistance and putting together this amazing festival.
