Several notable college basketball players who had previously entered their name into the NBA Draft have withdrawn over the last 24 hours, opting to return to school for the 2016-17 season. The notable names include Melo Trimble (Maryland), James Blackmon Jr. (Indiana), Nigel Hayes (Wisconsin),Caleb Swanigan (Purdue), Josh Hart (Villanova), Isaiah Briscoe (Kentucky), Trevon Blueitt (Xavier), Makai Mason (Yale), Amida Brimah (UConn), Vincent Edwards (Purdue), and Cahrles Cooke (Dayton). Tonight is the deadline or playeres to withdraw their name from the draft under the new rules, which allow players to “declare” for the draft and go through the NBA combine/team workout process before deciding whether to go forward with the draft.
