A U.S Federal Appeals Court has rejected the appeal of New England Patriots’ QB Tom Brady’s 4-game DeflateGate suspension, effectively ending the scandal. Brady was suspended for four games back in May 2015 for likely knowing about the intentional deflation of footballs. His appeal was denied in July 2015, but had his suspension overturned by a judge in September. The suspension was reinstated this past April, and today it is confirmed that it will remain that way. Barring the Supreme Court taking up the case, which would take considerable time regardless, the suspension will finally be served. 3rd year QB Jimmy Garoppolo is fully expected to start the Partiots’ first four games this season.
