Shooting In Lower Manhattan Federal Building

As we previously reported, shots rang out at Crabtree Valley Mall around 2:30, but thankfully no one was shot, or killed. The shooter has not yet been apprehended, but now, more details are emerging about the cause of the shooting, according to Casanova owner, Antonio Richardson.

Richardson said the shooting was a result of two 20-something-year-old men arguing, when one pulled a gun:

Antonio Richardson, the owner of Casanova, a clothing store in the mall, says he was standing at the entrance to his store Saturday afternoon when he saw two men who appeared to be in their early 20s arguing in the food court.

He says he saw one of them pull out a gun and begin shooting. As he was running away, he says he heard as many as four shots in all.

Crabtree Valley Mall was on lockdown following the shooting, but police say the situation is starting to de-escalate. Glenwood Ave. is shut down, with no traffic being allowed on the street.
