Prosecutors in NYC have dropped some of the charges against Desiigner that originated from a car stop last week where cops originally said they found large quantities of Oxycontin. Today TMZ reports that the pills were actually steroids that belonged to the driver of the vehicle. Authorities dropped the intent to sell charge, but wills till pursue a possession charge.

TMZ reports:

Turns out, all the pills were steroids, including methandrostenolone, PharmOne Oxandrolone and Halotest Fluxymesteron. In all, there were 302 pills in various Ziploc bags … all steroids.

It appears the steroids all belonged to the driver … not Desiigner, who’s rail thin.

TMZ broke the story, Desiigner was initially charged with possession and intent to sell controlled substances. The intent to sell charge has been dropped but he’s still being charged with possession, even though the drugs were not on his person.

Desiigner has denied even knowing that there were drugs in the vehicle…
