The Cleveland Cavaliers have not yet solidified a contract deal with J.R. Smith and it seems like Smith plans to hold out as long as possible to get what he rightfully deserves.
Rumor has it, J.R.Smith is seeking $15 million per year to re-sign with the Cavs. Several sources say that the Cavs offered Smith $10-$11 million a year and he declined the offer. Now Lebron is stepping in and putting his foot down. He wants his NBA team back and is making it clear that he isn’t happy with what is going on.
