Yesterday Wake Technical Community College held the largest graduation in the school’s history at the Raleigh Convention Center. Over 1,300 graduates received degrees and diplomas.
The keynote speaker was U.S. Sen. Richard Burr, a ranking member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
A little more than 41 percent of the graduates say they are still seeking employment. That’s also up from 18 percent of graduates a year ago.
