After three delays Lil Wayne reported to a New York City courthouse yesterday to begin his one year jail sentence.
Wayne reported to court at around 2 p.m. to hear his sentencing. Reports claim that there was a crowd of onlookers and paparazzi outside in a frenzy when he made his appearance. Peep the Video..
If Lil Wayne maintains good behavior he could be out of the facility in as little as eight months.
He will not be in the “general population” at Riker’s but will serve his time in protected custody.Following that he was escorted away to begin his one year behind bars at New York’s notorious Riker’s Island.
