    Mir.I.am

    One of the most diverse radio personalities in North Carolina, Mir.I.am does it all; from on air, to production, promotion, hosting, DJing, blogging, graphic design — you name it, she’s done it.

    A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Mir.I.am, moved to NC to receive her BA from NC State. While at NC State, she was the creator and host of “Real RNB Radio,” on the campus radio station, 88.1FM WKNC, and it continues to be one of the most popular shows on the station.
    She later joined forces with Radio One on K97.5 in 2013, as an On air host/ Board Op/ Producer, and has been a large part in the station being #1 18-34, and #1 on weekends.
    Known for her charismatic and witty personality, she’s hosted everything from concerts (Floetry, The Foreign Exchange, Eric Roberson, Ty Dolla $ign), to talent competitions, and festivals (Durm Hip-Hop Summit) at venues including The DPAC, Motorco and The Ritz, and numerous club events throughout the Triangle.

    With endorsements ranging from Ideal Image, to Chevrolet and the voice of imaging and commercials across all Radio One Raleigh stations (K97.5, 103.9, Foxy 107/104), she has become one of the most recognizable and distinctive voices on the airwaves. Mir.I.am has also interviewed a bevy of your favorite artists including Whitney Houston, Ne-Yo, Marsha Ambrosias, The Foreign Exchange, Kem, King Mez, Arie Spears, and a host of local artists.
    Giving back and community are very important to Mir.I.am and she has helped with a number of different charity events, including the TSW Turkey Drive, TIP-A-Jock for Breast Cancer Awareness, Kuts For Kids, to name a few.

    From hosting parties, big events and other special functions, public speaking and other community work, Brian Dawson has done it all in the entertainment world.

    A native of Fredericksburg, VA, Brian and possesses an Associates Degree in Arts and Radio from Gulf Coast Community College in Florida and  Bachelors Degree in Communications and a Masters in Sports Management both obtained at the University of Akron in Ohio. To add to Brian’s versatility, he possesses the ability to move crowds and to involve individuals in the special events that he hosts. Brian’s natural ability to interact with a variety of people has enabled him to be an active and well-respected individual within the community.

    Fifteen years of entertainment experience has made Brian one of the most sought after talents on the East Coast.  Brian is the afternoon drive host (3pm-7pm) at Radio One of Raleigh for WQOK FM K97.5. His show “The Traffic Jamz” can be heard throughout the central parts of North Carolina to Southern Virginia and has been consistently ranked number one in the 12+, 18-34, and 25-54 demos.As an afternoon personality, Brian has interviewed highly recognized artists in music and entertainment like Jay Z, Diddy, John Legend, Ludacris, Tyrese, Neyo, Alicia Keys, Rick James, 50 Cent, and TI; Public Figures such as President Barack Obama, Senator Hilary Clinton, former Senator John Edwards, Pastor Shirley Caesar, and NBA legend Magic Johnson and he has also hosted events with celebrities such as Usher, John Witherspoon, Yancey Thigpen, Cuba Gooding Jr., Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, Randy Moss, and Kid Capri. He has appeared on and hosted television shows including BET’s ‘Rap City,’ ‘Keepin’ It Reel’ TV, a music and video show for five years, FOX 50’s ‘Gimmie the Mike’ for two years, MTV’s ‘The Dance” and he is currently working on his new project TV show “The B spot” on FOX 50.

    Brian Dawson has experience in all forms of entertainment including but limited to event planning, street promotions, and radio/ television production. As an entrepreneur, Brian Dawson is the founder and CEO of Chase Media. His company provides advertising, artist and/or personality bookings and development, event planning and coordination, marketing, product placement, and promotions.

    While Brian is known universally by his radio exposure, he is also very well known for the high caliber social events that he has masterminded.  Annual special events that Brian has hosted include: “OSAW” Old School Alumni Weekend, Josh Powell’s NBA Celebrity Weekend, Willie Parker’s NFL Celebrity Weekend, Women’s Empowerment, Dante Culpepper NFL Celebrity Weekend,  The Bimbe’ Cultural Arts Festival, North Carolina Central University’s Homecoming, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University, and The Black Business Expo. Brian Dawson was also a guest speaker in the Radio One vigil dedicated to the September 11th Attack on America.

    Brian’s education and over a decade of experience coupled with his outgoing personality and positive attitude makes him a well trained and seasoned individual who will continue to impact the entertainment industry on a variety of different levels.

    The young, motivated guy who overcomes his obstacles to in the end, obtain money, power and respect.. We see it everyday in the movies, now witness it in the flesh. Wade Banner, the “Youngest-In-Charge” got his foot in the door as the youngest radio personality to grace the airwaves at Radio One Raleigh’s, K97.5, having never been an intern or even graduate from college. To date, Wade Banner is still the youngest personality at K97.5.

    Radio Personality, DJ, Event Host & Actor, Wade Banner can be heard on K97.5 Sunday nights from 7pm-10pm or filling in weekdays 3pm-7pm. Wade Banner has embellished thousands of television sets with cameos in The BSpot, which can be seen Saturdays at 10:35PM on Fox 50. Known to popularize the hottest nightclubs in the city, Wade Banner can be seen djing and/or hosting some of the biggest events from teen or college parties to 21+ clubs to community events to major shows.

    Wade Banner has showcased his talents in front of crowds of thousands at a plethora of major events including New Years Eve at the RBC Center, Durham Parks & Recreation’s Bimbe Cultural Arts Festival, the NC Pro-Am Basketball Summer League, Apple Chill, TeenFest and countless community projects like the EOG Tour, Read 2 Succeed, Kuts For Kids and more.

    Additionally, Wade Banner is a member of the worldwide Fleet DJs and the Authority DJs.
