A man suspected in a string of recent bank robberies in Raleigh and Durham is believed to be responsible for another robbery in Chapel Hill.

This time it was a BB&T branch on E. Rosemary St. Police said A man handed a teller a note demanding money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The same man is suspected of robbing six other banks in Raleigh and Durham in the last two weeks.

he robber is described as a black man, 35 to 50 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a stocky build and dark complexion. He has a beard and mustache and often wears sunglasses and a baseball cap during the robberies.
