Hip-Hop pioneers Eric B. and Rakim will be inducted into the Long Island Hall of Fame during a ceremony that is slated to take place next month in Long Island, New York.

The rappers will be inducted at the lavish Oheka Castle on November 16th, joining a prestigious list of inductees that include Lou Reed, Donny McClurkin, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Steve Martin, Run-DMC and others.

“No one can deny the huge contributions that both Eric B. and Rakim have made to hip hop history. Few can match the turntable skills of Eric B. and Rakim’s vocal style changed rap forever,” revealed Long Island Hall of Fame Vice Chairman Tom Needham.

Needham also revealed that Eric B. and Rakim will make their first high-profile appearance together in over 15 years.
