The thick mustached man suspected in 11 bank robberies in the Triangle likely committed his 12th today. Today’s heist took place at the First Citizens Bank on Ridge Road around 3:30 p.m.
In each robbery a man wearing sunglasses and a hat hands a teller a note demanding money.
Police stopped vehicles in the area Tuesday afternoon, asking them to be on the lookout for a man whom authorities have dubbed “the Repeat Robber.” (I call him the mustache bandit)
