An autopsy report released yesterday confirms that a 5-year-old Fayetteville girl who was kidnapped and killed two months ago was sexually assaulted. Shaniya Davis was reported missing on November 10th and her body was found near the Lee-Harnett County line six days later. The autopsy determined she died of asphyxiation and that injuries she suffered were consistent with a sexual assault. Mario Andrette McNeill has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree rape of a child and first-degree kidnapping in the case. Shaniya’s mother, Antoinette Nicole Davis, has been charged with human trafficking, felony child abuse–prostitution, filing a false police report and obstructing a police investigation
