A shooting suspect remains at large today after Durham police surrounded an apartment complex for hours during a stand-off last night. The incident began after Durham authorities found a man in his 20s who had been shot on Liberty Street. Police then evacuated the area and called in hostage negotiators but during the confusion the suspect managed to get away. The identities of the victim and suspect have not been released.
