Several North Carolina agencies are shipping over 8000 pairs of seized counterfeit shoes to poor countries.
The shoes were seized in Charlotte and had a street value of $850,000.
Normally counterfeit goods are destroyed after they are no longer needed for evidence but this time officials got the permission from Nike and Timberland to donate the 8,000 pairs of shoes and 500 boots to kids who really need them…
