All Hail to the Queen.Jersey hails Queen Latifah with an induction into the state’s Hall of Fame.Queen Latifah started out in Newark, New Jersey releasing her debut album in 1989 on Tommy Boy Records.The Queen has been awarded a Golden Globe, multiple Image Awards, SAG awards and has received nominations for an Emmy and an Oscar making her hometown very proud.New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie announced the list of 13 inductees Thursday afternoon in Trenton. Some other names include legendary actors, John Travolta and Bruce Willis and lifestyle authority, Martha Stewart. The red-carpet induction ceremony will be in June at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.
