Rapper Fabolous, 31, (real name John Jackson) has been accused of assaulting a restaurant bus boy with a glass bottle and a fist during a visit to Atlanta.

In a tort/negligence lawsuit filed against him on Monday, January 31, 2011 in Fulton County Superior Court, Fabolous is accused of attacking Octavious Butler, a busboy at Fox Sports Grill.

The lawsuit alleges that Jackson and another unknown person attacked Butler without any provocation. Butler was allegedly hit in the head with a glass bottle and struck with a closed fist while he was working at the restaurant.

Fabolous, a New York native, has been in trouble in the past.

In October 2006, the rapper was arrested for carrying unlicensed guns just moments after he was shot in the leg. The following year, Fabolous was suspected in the fatal stabbing of a childhood friend outside a Manhattan nightclub, but he denied he was there, MTV reported.

In February 2009, police found nearly 500 pounds of marijuana on Fab’s tour bus, but he was not aboard at the time.
