Hot temperatures are making life in the Triangle miserable, and by Friday, we could see the highest temperature ever recorded at RDU.

The predicted high for Friday is 104 degrees. RDU hit 105 degrees on July 23, 1952, and the Triangle could easily tie that record tomorrow.

Today’s high should be near 100 degrees. 42 NC COUNTIES ARE UNDER Heat Advisory, INCLUDING WAKE, DURHAM, JOHNSTON, ORANGE, AND CHATHAM COUNTIES.
