A mother from Dunn who accidentally suffocated two kids in less than four years has been charged with involuntary manslaughter…

Destiny Tequita Judd is under a $100,000 bond after being arrested on Tuesday in Harnett County. Authorities think she suffocated her 7-week-old daughter, Jordan, this past December. Judd told WRAL News last month that she curled up with her baby on the couch and fell asleep. When she awoke, however, she found that she had rolled over, and her back was up against the baby and the back of the couch.

Department of Social Services staff had warned Judd previously against sleeping with young children because she had smothered another infant(her 5-week-old son) in October of 2006.

Judd maintained that no one ever told her that sleeping on a couch with children was dangerous, noting she has always let her children sleep in bed with her.
