The state of North Carolina’s unemployed rate has dropped over the last two months, but is still higher than the national rate.
The state has an unemployment rate of 10.4 percent back in October but earlier today it was announced that the rate is now 10 percent.
The national average of unemployment is 8.6 percent currently. There are reportedly 451,413 people unemployed in the state of North Carolina right now. Last year this time the unemployment rate was 9.8 percent nationally and statewide.
