February 22nd – TRU released their sixth and final album “The Truth” on No Limit Records, on this day in 2005.
TRU an acronym for The Real Untouchables was a Big Easy hip-hop super-group whose original line-up included No Limit founder Master P, his brothers C-Murder and Silkk The Shocker, Big Ed, Cali G, King George, Chille Powdah, Milkman and Sonya C.
By the time of the release of “The Truth”, only P and his two brothers made up the group.
The album was produced by Drumma Boy, Kaos and Bass Heavy.
“The Truth” featured guest appearances by Halleluyah, Afficial, Mr. Stra, Ashley, Jazz & Yougi, Blak, C-Los and Master P’s son Lil’ Romeo.
