The VH1 show “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” has breathed new life into ATL rapper Lil’ Scrappy’s career! Scrappy, real name Darryl Kevin Richardson II, was discovered by Lil’ Jon during a performance at a bar in ATL.

The Georgia native released his debut album Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live on December 5, 2006. It featured artists: Yung Joc, Three 6 Mafia, Lil Jon, Young Buck, 50 Cent, Olivia and Young Dro. The song “Money In The Bank” appeared on the the disc which spawned two Top 30 singles.

The 28-year-old hit a plateau after the release of his independent album Prince of the South. Now, back in the limelight, Scrappy released a new project. He has gained a large following from his role on “L&HHATL.”
