Actor and North Carolina native Andy Griffith died from an apparent heart attack according to his death certificate. Earlier this week Griffith suffered a heart attack and died roughly 24 hours later.
The 86-year-old actor died Tuesday in his Dare County, North Carolina home.
Apparently Griffith also suffered a variety of illnesses including coronary artery disease, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
He was buried in his family cemetery in N.C hours after he passed away.
