Many hip hop artist have made it without a high school diploma. Despite this factor many have expressed regrets and advocated to the youth that-that is not the best option. Harlem alumni emcee Cam’ron recently tweeted a surprising one liner.

Killa Cam, who just joined the rest of the rap world on the Twitter universe, recently posted the following message, after a lengthy debate over education. “You really graduate when you make it outta of the hood,” wrote Cam. “To tell da truth I [bought] my GED for $600 when I was 17. Just to make my mom happy.” Well even though getting his GED may have been to make his mom proud surely somewhere deep down he has too also be proud of himself too right? What do you think?
